Yacht Club Challenge For Swanson and Bay Cups

Racing between yacht clubs for the Swanson Cup has been a tradition on the bay for over 50 years.  The winner gets a grand trophy to hang in their clubhouse for the year. 

This year, NBYA made some important changes to make the event easier.  The racing will be at Halfway Rock which reduces travel time to an hour or less for everyone.  The PHRF cumulative rating band has been eliminated.  You can now choose three boats of any speed.  Lastly, the regular racing rules that we all use all the time will be in force.  No longer will the “Team Racing” rules apply.  Take a look at the NOR and SI below and start getting your three boat teams together for this late season event.
